lately, wi-fis have been swarming all over jakarta, especially hangout places. so these are the places that i go, frequently. 

 

1.  Anomali Coffee, Senopati - Good coffee & tea, fast wi-fi, wall outlets available, smoking area everywhere, and convenient parking. near seasons photography. i usually drop some prints at seasons first, and then wait for them to be printed at anomali. it’s a great place to meet up after office hours too. open till 1 or 2 am, or later. (seriously, my friend said she was evicted exactly just before they were going to close, lol.)

2.  Gloria Jeans Coffee, Kemang –  Good coffee & tea, fast wi-fi by adorama, wall outlets available, smoking area inside, nice sofa, lobby & basement parking available. next to adorama photo services. i usually drop some photo works here too, and wait for it to be printed. it’s a great place to hangout at weekends. oh, of course, WITH friends. duh?

3.  Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Trans Corp. – Good coffee & tea, fast wi-fi by netzap (requires login & password for netzap, just ask the attendant, or maybe u can write “cbtltrans” as login, and “cbtl” as password, teehee..), smoking area outside, sofa inside (non smoking area). wall outlets are a bit rare, so make sure you have your batteries fully charged. nevertheless, it’s also a great place to hang out with friends. open till late.

4.  Anywhere At Pondok Indah Mall II – weekdays only, not available at weekend (saturday & sunday). i usually hangout at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, they have great tea latte, nice sofa, and wall outlets are available even in the smoking area.

5.  Last but not least.. my own room. hahaha.. nice spot, chairs, sofa, even bed available. fast wi-fi by telkom speedy (requires WEP password for login. just ask me), smoking area everywhere. open 24 hours.
